  • Brian Kim, Ph.D. Chief Executive Officer

    Brian Kim, Ph.D., is a RAONTECH co-founder and has served as our Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer since October 2009. From July 2006 to December 2009, Brian served as a Product Line Manager at Analog Devices Inc. while leading the Integrant mobile TV product line. He hold positions both as an engineering manager and a technical marketing manager for mobile TV tuner and SoC products along with connectivity transceiver products such as mobile WiMax and mobile RFID.

    From October 2000 to July 2006, Brian served as Chief Technology Officer at Integrant Technologies Inc., a manufacturer of the world first CMOS mobile TV integrated circuits for mobile phone application, which had been acquired by Analog Devices Inc. in July 2006. From 1997 to 2000, he served as a senior design engineer at Hyundai Electronics, now Hynix, developing memory module PLL and buffer ICs for server computer main memories, and RF IC for communication applications.

    Brian received B.S., M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from Korea University, 1991, 1993, 1997 respectively, all in Electrical Engineering. He published more than 65 patents granted or pending and is an author or coauthor of more than 70 international and domestic technical papers on circuits and systems. Brian is a slow running amateur triathlete and a finisher of six ironman races, more than ten full course marathon races and an 100km ultra marathon race. He dreams to have his sports gear wearable devices with his company’s technology in it.

  • Minsu Jeong Chief Technical Officer

    Minsu Jeong is a RAONTECH co-founder and has served as the Chief Technical Officer of RAONTECH. Minsu has 20 years of industry experience in analog RF.

    From 2006 to 2009, Minsu worked for a principal design manager at Analog Devices Inc. while leading the integrant mobile TV product line. He leaded development team of mobile TV tuner and SoC products along with WiMax. From 2002 to 2006, Minsu served as development team leader at Integrant Technologies Inc., he leaded world-first satellite DMB tuner and SoC development. From 1999 to 2002, he served as a senior design engineer at Hynix semiconductor developing flat-panel display drive IC and timing controller. From 1997 to 1999, he worked for LG semiconductor which merged to Hynix semiconductor at 1999. He developed mixed signal circuits such as clock synthesizer and data converters.

    Minsu received B.S and M.S degrees from Korea University, 1994 and 1996 respectively all in Electrical Engineering.

  • Matthew Kim Head of R&D Center

    Matthew Kim, Ph.D., joined RAONTECH as head of engineering in 2012. Matthew has 25 years of industry experience in Microdisplay circuit design.

    He oversees the engineering departments and focuses on developing new products and technologies.

    Prior to joining RAONTECH he was key engineer in Samsung SDI, Iljin Display, developing Display Driving Circuits and HTPS TFT LCD, and LCoS Display Module for microdisplay applications.

    Matthew received B.S., M.S. degrees from Korea University, 1990, 1992 and Ph.D. degrees from Dankook University, 2011 respectively in Electrical Engineering.

  • Martin Cho Chief Marketing Officer

    Martin Cho is a Chief Marketing Officer of RAONTECH since Jan. 2010., Prior to RAONTECH Martin served as a Product Line Sales & Marketing manager at Analog Devices Inc. Mobile TV Product line from July 2006 to December 2009, contributing on business development for mobile TV tuner and SoC products along with connectivity transceiver products such as mobile WiMax and mobile RFID

    From December 2002 to July 2006, Martin served as Sales & Marketing senior manager at Integrant Technologies Inc., a manufacturer of the world first CMOS mobile TV integrated circuits for mobile phone application, which had been acquired by Analog Devices Inc. From 1997 to 2000, he served as a Marketing manager at Hyundai Electronics, now Hynix, managing Sales and Marketing for memory module PLL and buffer ICs for server computer main memories, RF IC for communication applications, and foundry business management for major US accounts.

    Martin received B.S. degrees from HUFS majoring International trade in 1996 and he was awarded by MOTIE(Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy) for contribution for semiconductor business development in 2013.
